
Mission managers reported at Thursday afternoon's press conference that the Shuttle launch would be slipped 48 hours to Saturday Dec 8th, 3:43 pm.
Weather officer Captain Chris Lovett said there is a 40% chance of unfavorable weather getting in the way of the Saturday launch window.
Yesterday's launch was scrubbed when two of four liquid hydrogen fuel cut-off sensors were not acting the way that a good fuel cut-off sensor should act on launch day.
The crew, including two European Astronauts who are escorting the ESA Columbus laboratory to its new home on the International Space Station, will have to try again Saturday.
