According to an anonymous source who supposedly got a look at an internal memo circulated to executives at competitor Best Buy, that still hasn't stopped the bleeding.
Word is CompUSA holiday sales are down more than half from a year ago, no restocking shipments are scheduled past February, and additional liquidators are being contracted to shut down the remaining 103 stores. If true, we suggest you somberly hum a bar or two of "El Deguello" in honor of not-infallible retail magnate Carlos Slim Helu. And those of you with privacy-violation fetishes had better think about where you're going to go now for a brisk pat-down search.
