
Even at America's largest consumer electronics trade show, many CES attendees fear copycats more than they love publicity.
According to the show's FAQ, all imaging equipment must be registered and stickered, and journalists who take "inappropriate" pictures of exhibits — despite them being seen by thousands of showgoers — may be reported to security:
Last year, when people tried to prevent us taking photographsof their stuff, a CES spokesperson told us she hated it when exhibitors did this.
"We've always welcomed photography on the floor," she said at the time. "Show shots are encouraged."
Not any more. What changed?
