
One way networks are dealing with the writers strike that's all about digital rights is buying content that's already been made -- online. NBC did just that when they acquired the rights to the web series Quarterlife.
This February, the peacock channel will air 36 eight-minute episodes of the series, which premiered on MySpace Nov. 11, as a six-episode hour-long drama.
Next thing you know, ABC is going to buy LonelyGirl15 and we'll never find out what happens on Lost.
