When Nathan Sawaya was asked to make a replica Lego air-con unit for manufacturer Carrier, he did what any good hardware hacker and maker would do: Sawaya decided to make it fully functional:
And, aside from his worrying tendency to address himself in the third person plural, it is cool. The first model was completed for last year's Carrier Convention, but this year Nathan was back, with a model for Bryant.
This opens up a whole new world of Lego home appliances, although a Lego stove might not be such a practical idea.
