People in Canada must be really negligent. Last year, Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board launched a campaign called prevent-it. The public service program includes a series of television PSAs revealing that there really aren’t accidents in the workplace, only negligent upper management.
The ads are incredibly gruesome. Like, you-can’t-stop-watching gruesome. The following spot made me scream. Now that’s what I call a proper PSA! None of that "this is your brain on drugs" BS. Show me the gnarly stuff and maybe I won’t lean on the company ladder next time I’m in the Wired office.
Also, I highly recommend going to the teen version of prevent-it and watching the Flash info site. It’s like the director of Idle Hands made it (BTW, most underrated geniusity evah!).
