There's a problem with GPS navigation systems, namely that they are all mostly the same. It's like buying shelves: get a decent set and it'll never need replacing. Blaupunkt's TravelPilot Lucca 3.5 Edition solves this marketing problem by innovating where it counts: shape.
The remarkable design is created using a bizarre geometric contrivance, which the specifications indicate is defined by an infinite number of points set at an exact distance from the center. Clever! It also has a 3.5" touchscreen display, a 400 MHz CPU, maps of the realm, and an SD card reader for updates and whatnot.
In stores by Christmas, price yet to be determined.
