This morning, the Neo Geo lands on Virtual Console, hard. Today's entire lineup consists of Neo Geo games, each retailing for 900 Wii points a pop.
In case you didn't know, the home and arcade versions of Neo Geo games were for all intents and purposes identical, so if you remember playing Fatal Fury, World Heroes, or Art of Fighting in the arcade, the Virtual Console versions should bring back that nostalgic feeling. That feeling of having just wasted a quarter.
Actually, I was playing World Heroes (right) the other day, and while it's awful, it's worth playing just to see how blatantly and hamfistedly they ripped off Street Fighter II. The fact that Hanzo has all of Ryu's special moves is one thing; the fact that his ending cinematic is shot-for-shot identical is quite another.
