Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment's Kevin Balentine slipped word to TenTonHammer that Stargate Worlds, the MMO based on long-running sci fi show Stargate SG-1, should be arriving fourth quarter 2008:

We've got a playable version of the game inside of our building. I'm not prepared to release our beta schedule yet, but I can say that we're going to be releasing the game in the fourth quarter of next year. You can do the math and figure out when our beta program will be.

Please, please, please don't let this suck like the series finale of SG-1 did. That would just break my heart into a thousand tiny pieces.
