Nissan's Pico 2 Concept Car: Easy to Park, Won't Reverse

If you regularly draw the mirth of pedestrians when attempting parallel parking, the bug-shaped Pivo won't help your embarrassment – it's way too dorky looking for that – but it'll get you parked up and out of the way before you flush red.... After reading your mood by facial expressions, the cute dashboard robot will placate your road rage or wake you up.

Nissanpivo2 Hi 002-1 1

This dinky little toy is Nissan's Pivo 2, a car which almost will park itself. If you regularly draw the mirth of pedestrians when attempting parallel parking, the bug-shaped Pivo won't help your embarrassment – it's way too dorky looking for that – but it'll get you parked up and out of the way before you flush red.

The electric car works by spinning the cabin to face the direction you want to go, and turning the wheels, too. So you can stop by a parking spot, spin 90º and drive straight in. The Pivo will also talk to you. After reading your mood by facial expressions, the cute dashboard robot will placate your road rage or wake you up.
