
Apple has been hit with another lawsuit over iPhone lock-in, this one filed on behalf of a Washington State and a California consumer unhappy with Apple's attempts to prevent iPhone buyers from doing anything Steve Jobs dislikes. The case states that the recent firmware update deliberately KOed unlocked phones, causing $1.2 billion worth of damage to the plaintiffs and other parties to be named. According to the suit:
