This week's Virtual Console lineup might end Nintendo's streak of eight (nine? ten? I've lost count, now that I'm in Japan) weeks of awesome. Or it might not, depending on your feelings about Nintendo 64 early release Yoshi's Story.
I actually gave Yoshi's Story a positive review back in the day. Did I really enjoy its super-cute art design? Or was I just coming to the sad realization that this was going to be what Nintendo 64 was like from now on? Either way, I couldn't in good conscience recommend this lame excuse for a Yoshi's Island sequel, ten years later.
And, being far, far away from my Wii, I have to ask you guys: how are Super Thunder Blade for Genesis and World Class Baseball for TurboGrafx? Never played 'em, don't know.
I guess just to make it kind of fair, the Japan update for tomorrow is pretty meh, too: it's just Super Thunder Blade and Detana! Twinbee for TG. Hmm... with only one release week left in September, does that mean all the remaining games on their list (eight of them, including those Neo Geo games) will come out next week? I doubt it.
