NextFest is Wired's deal, but that doesn't mean other folks don't publish great things about it. News.com has a gallery showing some of the best and brightest new technologies on show.
Pictured here is the WineM, an RFID-controlled rack that illuminates bottles on demand. Controlled using a simple Flash application, it allows the user to order based on region, price, grape, or any other pre-defined classification.
It breaks if you ask for "Acceptable British Wine,' and tries to kill you by firing Blue Nun at your head if you demand "Quality Retsina," but all the kinks will be out by the 2009 release date.
