Sirius, perhaps realizing it can't rely entirely on the weary commuter demographic to attain the growth it needs, has made a deal with music streaming specialist Sonos to include Sirius channels in its service. Sonos makes semi-popular gadgets that stream MP3s and Internet music services throughout a house.
The deal adds 80 Sirius channels to the Sonos lineup, including Howard Stern. Sirius subscribers will need to pay an extra $3 a month to use the Sonos service.
