Given that a good chunk of Porsche 911 sales are for topless versions of the car, it's a good bet that the much-rumored topless Audi R8 Spider will make it to production within the year. Audi won't confirm these rumors, but Edmonds has a sketch of the prototype. The car will probably use removable targa panels instead of a rag top or folding hard top. Twin speedster humps will ride above the same 420 hp 4.2-liter V8 in the coupe.
