TVG.com is reporting that Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is developing some sort of MMO hybrid for the Xbox 360. At a recent anime convention in Paris, Sakaguchi described the game as "50% MMO and 50% RPG." According to the report, the game in question is neither Cry On, nor Blue Dragon 2. That's it as far as details go, but TVG is promising more info when the event is over.
From the sounds of it, I'd put my money on some sort of MMO-lite-style Phantasy Star Universe riff.
