Missile Launcher on New Jersey Lawn (Updated)

As if finding a Patriot missile in a junk yard wasn't bad enough...

A Jersey City woman made a shocking discovery on her lawn this morning when she noticed a military rocket launcher lying... on her front lawn. [The – video report calls is a "missile launcher... the kind used to launch shoulder-fired rockets"] She immediately called police.

Joe Quinn saw [his neighbor]
pointing at the equipment from her front porch. When he walked over to the six-foot-long weapon, he was just as shocked. “It looked like a bazooka,” he told CBS 2 News.

Quinn tells CBS 2 HD he originally thought the launcher was just a pipe, but after noticing it had a picture of a soldier on it, he realized it looked similar to a missile launcher he'd seen on television.

Jersey City Police removed the launcher, and the incident is now being investigated by the Joint
Terrorism Task Force and The Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The video also says the launcher was "six-feet long." That would roughly correspond to the size of the Russian-made SA-18, a heat-seeking missile designed to nail targets more than 5 kilometers in the sky.

UPDATE: In was an AT-4 anti-tank weapon. It had already been used. And it can't be reloaded.
