Bclass_mercedesUnconfirmed reports from Bloomberg aver that the Mercedes-Benz B-Class crossover vehicle, which is due for a makeover in 2011 or 2012, will finally make it to America. It has been available in Europe since 2005. Cost reasons have kept it out of the States, but with the redesign--and the changing tide of the American market toward fuel-efficient vehicles--it could have a fighting chance here. The vehicle pictured here is smaller than a Toyota Corolla. The current B-Class offers a choice of two diesel and five gasoline engines. U.S.-bound cars would likely use something similar to the 2.0-liter, 193-hp turbocharged motor found in the current B200 Turbo.
