
The drama over at Dow Jones is drawing out longer than a “24” season long teaser. The latest update on Rupert Murdoch’s bid to buy the parent company of The Wall Street Journal is that the board has approved the proposed $5 billion sale.
Now all that’s left is for the majority share holders of the Bancroft family to vote up or down on the sale. According to the WSJ, the Bancrofts will meet in Boston on Monday to decide if they are ready to turn over the crown jewels to the real world Citizen Kane.
