Wicks and Yamanaka on Japan's technological revolution

I'll be moderating the keynote panel tonight at 6:30 at the Japan Society's conference on "Designing the Future" in midtown
New York tonight with Jim Wicks, from Motorola, and Shunji Yamanaka, formerly at Nissan and now an acclaimed freelance designer. We're going to be talking about the conflicts between product people and engineers, and why Japan seems to do so much of the world's great design work.
