Some of us at Wired News have been waiting for Transformers to be brought to life for most of our lives. Now that our wish has finally come true in the form of the upcoming Transformers movie, we've been fondly recalling our original Transformers toys, and eagerly playing with a new generation of toys sent to the office by toy companies' marketing departments.

We know many of you out there hold the same lifelong dream, and we want to see photos that document your fanaticism. We want to see old transformers toys, costumes, tattoos, haircuts, car mods ... whatever these morphing machines have inspired over the years.

We've set up a group on Flickr called Wired News: Transformers Submissions. All you have to do is join the group and add appropriate photos. Alternatively, you can simply tag your photos with "wirednewstransformers" and we'll be able to find your submissions that way. We'll pick the best photos for publication in a Transformers photo gallery that we'll publish on Wired.com in early July, around the time the movie comes out.

Please include a description of the photo and the name you want us to use when crediting the images. Also, be sure to remove any copyright restrictions on your photos that would prevent us from publishing them on Wired News. A Creative Commons commercial use license is preferred.

Once you join the Flickr group, feel free to leave comments for us and other users, or suggest photos you think we should include.
