
Blizzard is pretty on point when it comes to stamping out inappropriate names on characters and guilds, but as one player points out in a recent forum post, arena team names currently seem beyond Blizzard's capacity to police. The name cited by the player is "Kool Kids Klub," a 5v5 team on the Drak'thul server. The content of the post was met with derision by other posters, though before it was locked, Blizzard community rep Nethaera urged players to:
At this point, WoW players seem hip to the fact that arena team names are seldom moderated, and personally, I've seen some pretty outrageous stuff in my arena career. The fact is, team names aren't anywhere near as visible as guild or character names; you only really encounter them in-game during the post-match tally, or hidden under a tab on a player's character sheet. Out of sight, out of mind, it looks like.
