A new show opened over the weekend at Pratt's Manhattan gallery. Four Artists:Work by Recent Pratt Alumni may not have the most creative title, but it does feature amazing work by NYC-based Swoon. The female street artist carves people (many of whom are her friends and family) out of paper, wood and linoleum and installs the pieces on building walls.

I saw her work in December at Wooster on Spring and it was amazing. You look at it and just wonder how one person can embody so much patience.

The show is up until September 15th at 144 West 14th Street in Manhattan, but the galley is closed between July 29th through September 3rd.

There will be an artists talk on September 6th at 6 PM at the gallery.
