Disturbed by the dearth of hobbits inhabiting your console? Well, Turbine might have a remedy for that. CVG posted a teaser today for an upcoming interview with Lord of the Rings Online executive producer Jeffrey Steefel in which he confirms the developer's intent to bring versions of the MMO to as many platforms as possible. This isn't a firm announcement, mind you, but rather an affirmation of a persistent Middle-earth's viability beyond the PC. Says Steefel:
Current generation MMOs already tend to be streamlined enough to work as direct console ports, but they require some decidedly inelegant compromises in order to provide PC-style input flexibility--keyboards, in other words. So, yeah. Turbine seems to have the right idea.
