I think London may have gone a little bit over-the-top with their new logo design for the 2012 Olympics. Actually, let me rephrase that. The London organizing committee insists on having this recognized as a brand—not just a logo. Seb Coe, the chairman, told the BBC:
Anyway, instead of buying into all this romantic, Olympic-visionary PR speak, I figured I should ask you guys—the young people—what you think of this jagged-edged, bubble-lettered, brightly-colored "brand."
