Remember in Scream when the killer kept calling Neve Campbell and threatening her with a deep gurgly voice? Well now you can do that to your friends!

In what seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen, a company has released a new calling card, SpoofCard, that lets you fake a Caller ID, change your voice, and record your crank calls. To cover their asses, the company has made it impossible to dial 911 or toll free numbers using the calling card.

According to their site:

What are the advantages of Caller ID spoofing?

Caller ID spoofing gives business professionals the ability to manipulate their identity to their choosing and stay anonymous. Caller ID spoofing is also valuable in defeating popular telephone services such as "*57 Call Trace", "*69 Last Call Return", "Anonymous Call Rejection" and "Detailed Billing". Private Investigators will find Caller ID spoofing valuable for pretext calls.

Um, why would a business professional, other than an actor on Crank Yankers, want to manipulate their identity?
