Maybe you thought we were being too harsh on Guy Kawasaki’s Truemors yesterday with the post “Truemors: The Art of the Non-Starter.” Not even close. Today the code wonks over at Uncov tore into the evangelist’s site with a vengeance.

“Kawasaki paid some company in South Dakota called Electric Pulp to make this thing for him. He got ripped off. A cursory glance at the home page code shows us that Truemors is nothing more than a dolled-up instance of WordPress, with the WP-Postratings plugin installed. Also, the page automatically refreshes every 120 seconds, presumably to artificially inflate pageviews, because you could do this refreshing with Ajax if you wanted to.”
