Spoilers + T-Shirts = MEGA-Snack Attack

Last week when we learned of Threadless’ spoiler t-shirt, we couldn’t help recalling our "Spoiler Alert!" list from March. Last week when we learned of Threadless' spoiler t-shirt, we couldn’t help recalling our "Spoiler Alert!" list from March. Apparently, we’re not the only ones who noticed the similarities (thread via Threadless)...

As it turns out, though, the t-shirt actually wasn’t inspired by our list. “Spoilt” was conceived by 20 year-old UK-based English Lit. student Olly Moss, who had this to say via email:

"The concept was based on a forum thread I started about three years ago...I designed the shirt about two months ago, over the Easter holiday. I didn't see that article - although people made the connection when I posted the shirt on Threadless [last Monday]. Cheers. – Olly"

And mega-props to Olly for his visually-striking design. As of this weekend, all men’s shirts have SOLD OUT in sizes small to 2x – meaning two things:

  1. there’s some widespread spoiling going DOWN.
  2. we totally missed that boat. :(
