This is really incredible: Canadian artist Kristan Horton has recreated Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove frame by frame using only household objects. For example, an airplane might be a couple of knives splayed across a fork, a radar screen represented by a gas burner, or a mountain poking through the clouds might be represented by a beer bottle buried in a white plastic bag. But the result is extraordinarily accurate.
The project came into being through accidental brainwashing, according to Kristan:
...which is admittedly pretty awesome genesis, but, you know, maybe you should buy a television if you're so hard-up for visual stimulus that you'll watch a single movie 700 times in a row.
