Steve Case, co-founder of AOL, officially launched earlier today (he had talked about it before) Revolution Health, a web site he says "puts patients back at the center of health care."
"I really believe that health care this country is screwed up," Case said. "It's one of the largest industries in our country but it's fundamentally broken. I want to build a company that, like AOL was, can be a change agent and a disruptor."
Revolution recently bought Wisdom Media Group, which provides wellness and health-care programming to cable television and satellite radio. Revolution also recently a controlling interest in Miraval, which operates a resort called Life in Balance.
Case also seems to be interested in retail clinics, something Andy Grove recently described as a "disruptive technology."
