No Cash Payout for Euro Pogo Players

Part of the appeal of EA's casual game portal Pogo.com

is that it offers daily cash prizes and tournaments, a perk that visitors to the European version of Pogo won't get to enjoy. Jeff Zie, director of Pogo Europe, had this to say about it:

Right now we're not doing it. It's something we currently don't believe is appropriate for us to do, for lots of reason. One of them is a legal thing so right now it's not a good time to be doing that. It's not essential for us at this point.

That couldn't sound much sketchier if you had to turn it upside down and shake it for it to erase. Still, EA seems intent on getting Pogo up and running in as many countries and on as many formats as possible, with current efforts concentrating on the UK, France, and Germany.
