
It's the annual Edward E. Penhoet (founder of Chiron) Lecture, and I thought it was interesting that Mr. Grove was speaking about something other than the predictable tech topics. But then I realized it was redundant to liveblog something that's also being webcast. So I'll limit comments to the jump out of your seat exciting stuff.
One note on his personal interest in healthcare: Grove was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 1994. One recommendation from his doctor was to take calcium. After doing some research he found that that's exactly the opposite of the right thing to do, and doctors have since changed their recommendations for all patients.
