Google CEO Eric Schmidt just said the company would soon release presentation software as part of its growing suite of office/productivity web applications. The announcement came during an on-stage interview with journalist-turned-entrepreneur John Battelle at the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco. UPDATE: Google Presentations is due this summer, according to the official Google blog, and will use technology from recently-acquired Tonic Systems.
