Previously limited to casual hackers and graffiti artists, the LED throwie is a mix of rare earth magnets and LEDs brought to you by the awesome Graffiti Research Lab. You throw them at any metal streetwear and they sit and either amaze or annoy passers by.
We dig on the whole homemade-ness, especially as anyone who takes the time to whip some of these up is likely to be a responsible street-art citizen, but we also like a touch of convenience, although this time it comes at a price. An 18 pack of GLOWiEs will set you back $24. For that you get three each of six colors.
I can see these ending up on the list of Things Banned From Schools before long, although if you live in Boston, it's probably a good idea to move along and forget you even saw this post.
