AOL has named Andy Spillane as its new Vice President of Product Development for Messaging and Social Media. Hmmm, VP of Social Media… That does have a nice (albeit, a tad too trendy) ring. Previously, Spillane was Vice President and General Manager for Yahoo! Mail (but don’t hold that against him).
