Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer says that Windows Vista is "no threat" to the company's forthcoming Leopard operating system.
Oppenheimer told a crowd of moneymakers at the Morgan Stanley Technology Conference in San Francisco that in terms of security and other features and functions, Oppenheimer said, "I don't really see Vista as a threat." He added:

Apple's quest to drop a retail store into every mall in America looks like it might have been part of the company's iPhone strategy all along. CEO Steve Jobs recently told Fortune that "Our stores were conceived and built for this moment in time - to roll out iPhone."
Huh. And we thought they were all about the genius bars.
