Usually it's creative movies that inspire car designers, not the other way around. The next episode of Masamune Shirow's Ghost in the Shell anime series, Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society (released last year in Japan but not due to hit the U.S. until July '07) features actual Nissan concept cars: The Sport Concept, which debuted at the 2005 New York International Auto Show, and Infiniti Kuraza, shown at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
