Binary LEDs are so yesterday in the world of incomprehensible timepieces. Decadence has set in, with morse code, random right angles and other arbitrary weirdness now helping render the simplest of gadgets unreadable.

If you prefer the old-fashioned black-on-grey LED look to that modern trend for glowing sigils, the spiral labyrinth of Tokyo Flash's Mugen ("Infinity") Watch, if nothing else, offers strangeness without requiring too much in the way of mental gymnstics to understand.

"Round the outer edges are 60 segments, indicating 1 minute each. They are grouped in 10's so it's easy to tell the time at a glance. The inner spiral of blocks represent 1 hour each."

The Mugen sells for $85, and comes in black or silver.
