High-end German camera maker Leica has a new point-and-shoot digicam to show at PMA, and it doesn't really look anything like a Leica.
Instead of knurled top-mounted control dials and delicately tuned rangefinder systems, the C-Lux 1 sports a sleek, compact black or silver body that houses a 7.2-megapixel sensor and 28-100m zoom lens.
The camera has image stabilization, automatic exposure controls and all the other now-standard features, although they're no doubt done with sublime Leica precision.
Look for it in May, at a price TBA.
