George Bolster's photographs offer a not so subtle take on the video game generation. But something about them makes me think that he might not be criticizing. In Conditioned, the kid's school picture looks better than any I have ever taken. And kudos to the kids for their friendly playground antics (and their martial arts skills); Mortal Kombat is hard to emulate. They have obviously been practicing in the meatspace.

Let's do a little run down: Video games make you more attractive and also more athletic. (They might be distracting, but seriously, what isn’t at that age.) I'm all for it! But.. um... but can somebody else tell these kids that if they actually hit each other, "restart*" *wont make it all better.
