Last week's ToM contest asked you all to imagine who the voice of our generation would be. You all came up with some great answers! Camillo and Chase suggested Kenneth Eng (you know, Annalee's roommate's new best friend's son); Boing Boing's Cory Doctorow got a nomination, as did our very own ex-ToMer Lore Sjoberg; Wired cover model Jon Stewart, of course; and a lot of other great ones. Dr. Gash aptly pointed out that none of the nominees were women. What's up with that?

But this week I'm giving out the prize to Bob LaRice, who wrote:

James Earl Jones. Simply because he should be the voice of everything, including generations.

The man does have a great voice! And even though this wasn't initially what I intended the contest to be about, I think it would be a great idea if we could steal his voice, make it into a sound app for a webcam, and have people of our generation just say whatever the hell they want in his voice and post the videos all over YouTube.

Bob, make sure youe-mail meyour mailing address so I can send you your prize.
