Giant props to Mark Hoekstra of Geek Technique. Today, he showed off his experiment with an aging iPod mini to replace its hard drive with a large compact flash drive. Not only was it successful, but iTunes willingly formatted the card! I'll be interested to see him test the battery life. My guess is that it will get significantly better. Anyone going to give it a shot?
