Among those gritting their teeth through the arrival of Windows Vista is graphics chip giant Nvidia, which is finding it
s drivers don't handle the new OS all that well.
Early adopters of Vista have complained that computer games crashed or ran hideously slow as a result of Nvidia's software not knowing what to do with all that sparkly new Microsoft goodness. Nvidia says it's patching like mad.
"We are working diligently to make sure we achieve and maintain the level of driver quality and reliability that Nvidia is known for," said spokesman Brian Burke. "Over the coming weeks, Nvidia and our partners, along with the industry will continue to update Windows Vista drivers to ensure maximum performance on 3D applications and add feature support."
