Disney announced today that they're planning on building Disney-themed hotels in major cities across the US. The spokesperson did not cite any examples, and some may be dreading the infiltration of urban charm by kitschy Disney junk. But not me. I see a brighter future in this venture. In the same way that love hotels provide fetishists with cool rooms to have sex in in Tokyo and Osaka, Disney's hotels can bring fantasies about banging Cinderella or of Beauty dominating the Beast alive. Plus, imagine the possibilities of room ideas! That giant fish mouth facing off with Nemo could be a hotel room!
