Apple TV Delayed

In case you were wondering if tomorrow morning would bring the kind of Tuesday morning non-surprise Apple typically rolls out at the end of a product release window, wonder no more: The Apple TV will not ship tomorrow.

This news comes courtesy of the online Apple Store, which changed its shipping estimate from February to "mid-March." No particular reason has been cited, as theSan Jose Mercury News discovered:

Company spokeswoman Lynn Fox gave little explanation for the delay, other than to say that preparing the product for shipment was ``taking a little longer than we expected.''
