Look at the above photo. Can you tell me which of the open windows are from Mac OS X and which are from Windows XP? Look closer and answer again. The photo is a screenshot posted to Flickr by xportz, and he used Parallels Desktop's new Coherence mode combined with a skinning hack called Window Blinds to run Mac OS X and XP applications at the same time and with minimal differences.
It's awesome, but it's also terrifying, isn't it? I know I wouldn't be pleased if all my applications look like Mac programs but behave like Windows. That's a future too horrible to comprehend.
