Lame All Around: Where Should Daughters Meet Dates

Trekkies, bikers and geeks are the lowest of the low? My circle of friends would be surprised to hear that, since many of us are all three. And believe me, if you have a daughter, you want her meeting people like my friends.

That's one of several surprising findings from a new pollreleased on Tuesday that reveals starkly different expectations ofonline privacy among 18-24 year olds and their tech-savvy parents.

Of the 1,200 adults interviewed between January 24 and January 26 ofthis year, 31.9% rated an mate met online as the worst outcome for adaughter, followed closely by someone met in a bar (22.3%) and then aTrekkie (16.1%).

As for the bit about younger people saying it's not a privacy violation if someone posts a picture of them in a swimsuit, while the older people say it is? Total sense. At 21, you look great in a bathing suit and you aren't in your career job yet. And no matter what you think is wrong with your body ... it just gets worse from there. LOL
