
The Hyperbike aims to solve two inherent problems of the conventional bicycle: lack of speed and stability. The design features 8-foot wheels tiliting inward at the top for increased steadiness and requires the use of the rider's arms and legs, thereby generating more power. Described by its inventor as “crawling at 50mph," the bike is being marketed as the next thrill for the extreme sports crowd, though NASA reportedly has an interest in it as well.
