Yes, it's 802.11n, the forthcoming WiFi standard being perfected by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. The IEEE reached a milestone last week by finalizing the 1.10 version of 802.11n.
The organization says its on track to publish an interim spec by March, which would allow manufacturers to start working on designs for 802.11n products as the group hammers out the final 2.0 version.
