Great article on the new atheism. One thing is that is not new is that the struggle always seems to boil down to whether someone is a person of faith or a person of science/reason.
This leads us to the one definition worth clarifying.
Most people define an atheist as “someone who does not believe in God”.
However, the correct definition of an atheist is “someone who believes there is no God”.
Since, as Mr. Dawkins says, the existence of God cannot be disproven - believing in God's non-existence is actually a matter of (gulp!) faith.
To me, as I survey the world and its obviously created order, it takes more faith to believe there is no God than it takes to believe there is a God.
Bottom line, I don't have enough faith to be an atheist.
Keep up the good work.
